Fred, is a male Central Asian Shepherd and at just a year old, he’s already a big boy with an even bigger heart!

Unlike many dogs of his breed, Fred isn’t your typical guard dog. He’s a gentle soul who loves affection and attention. The only thing he really likes to “guard” is his food bowl and that’s just from the other dogs!

Fred could thrive in a working home with the right training, but he could also make a wonderful companion in a pet home with an experienced owner. He’s equally happy living indoors or outdoors curling up on the bed or sofa is one of his favourite ways to relax, but he also loves stretching his legs and exploring.

Ideally, Fred would love a home with land, where he can roam freely and enjoy his daily routine. His future owner should have experience with the breed or with giant dogs, as Fred is still young and will need ongoing training and structure.

Fred has been with us since he was just 6 weeks old, and he’s now ready to find someone special to bond with someone who will love him, guide him, and help him reach his full potential.
