Meet Iggy
Iggy, is an adorable 6 month old male Biewer Terrier that came into rescue due to having mild Hydrocephalus. This was more prominent as a puppy but he seems to have outgrown it. (this can be common) and he has no symptoms. We do still have to be wary of the fact that it is pre existing condition though and although unlikely, symptoms could start to show at some point in his life. He has had a full health check by the vets and she has no concerns.
He loves the garden. He is fully vaccinated but is still learning to walk on a lead which will need to be continued in his new home. Iggy is a beauty and absolutely loves to be around people. He is a real lap dog that loves nothing more than a snuggle and a little nap on your knee. He is a small boy at just over 1kg and we don’t expect him to exceed 1.5kg at adult weight. The vet said he may have stunted growth but this is nothing to be concerned about, he’s just a tiny dot!
We are looking for a home for Iggy with no other pets as he really would like all of the attention to himself. He needs someone that’s around most of the day as he really does thrive off attention. We are saying children 8+ that are dog savvy simply because he’s very small and fragile and wouldn’t like to be pulled around or the hectic atmosphere that small children can bring.
We are keen to get Iggy into a home sooner rather then later as he’s quite a sensitive boy and we don’t want him to grow roots in his foster home then be unsettled when he moves again.
If you can give this adorable little boy a forever home he deserves, where his going to get unlimited cuddles and be able to live his best life then you can click below to apply.
